Area Large Installation Systems Administration Users Group |

The Bay Area Large Installation Systems Administration Users
Group (Bay-LISA) meets monthly to discuss topics of interest
to administrators of sites supporting more than 100 users and/or
computers. The meetings are free and open to the public. The
focus is generally on UNIX Systems, but non-UNIX issues are
also topics of occasional discussion. |

The Silicon Valley Linux User Group (SVLUG) is the oldest
and one of the largest Linux user groups in the world. It's
a group of Linux hobbyists, professionals and enthusiasts in
the vicinity of San Jose, California, which is also internationally
known as Silicon Valley. |
